Introduction
Welcome to my homepage. I am presently holding a position as Professor with the
Institute
of Mechanical Engineering at Aalborg
University.
Within the Institute of Mechanical Engineering I am
associated with the Group
for Mechanics and Design of Structures (or the Lightweight
Composite and Sandwich Structures Group).
On these pages you will find some brief biographical
information, some information about my research
interests, a list of
my recent publications and a brief survey of my
current teaching/education
activities.
AAU - A Young and
Innovative University
In the spring of 2002 a
group of 5 "young" professors representing different areas
of Engineering and Science agreed to participate in a PR
"gimmick" aiming at branding AAU as a
young and innovative university.
The result was a series
of posters displayed in newspapers, buses, trains and even
postcards throughout the country, and appearing in brief PR
advertisements displayed in cinemas.
